Cable Truck Accident Snarls Traffic in Concord

CONCORD (KRON) — Police are urging motorists to avoid parts of Concord Blvd for most of the day after reports of a Cable TV truck that crashed into a power pole.
Claycord.com is reporting the crash involved an Astound Cable truck and happened on Concord Blvd near Hames Drive. That’s just northwest of Ayers.
Authorities say the driver was not injured. No other vehicles were involved.
Police say motorists should use Clayton Blvd and avoid Concord Blvd between Ayers and Trail Creek.
They say the area is likely to be a mess for six to eight hours.
