NAPA (KRON) — For many people dealing with the aftermath of the Napa quake and its aftershocks, one of the most stressful issues is trying to find pets who ran away in panic.

Missing Pets of Napa Quake Facebook Page

People have been posting pictures of their pets on the page and asking people to keep an eye out for them.

There’s already at least one success story with a cat named “Bwakie” reported missing Monday evening found by early Tuesday morning.

The Napa County Animal Shelter is also posting pictures of missing dogs and cats on its own Facebook page.

The shelter’s Humane Spay/Neuter clinic suffered structural damage in the quake so surgeries were cancelled. All of the animals in the shelter survived the initial quake and the aftershocks.

Stay tuned to KRON 4, the KRON 4 Mobile App, and KRON4.com for comprehensive coverage of the Napa Quake and its aftermath.
