SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Are you tired of seeing Miley Cyrus’ name every time you sign on the Internet? Now you don’t have to if you use Google’s Chrome browser.
There’s a new Chrome extension called “No Cyrus” which automatically blocks any mention of the former Hannah Montana from showing up on your screen. Instead you’ll get hashtags wherever the ##### name would otherwise appear.
The app also blocks words like “Twerk or twirking,” “Wrecking Ball”, and for the heck of it any references to the Kardashians.
Unfortunately for some, “No Cyrus” doesn’t do anything about memes or other images referencing the singer and actress. So if you search for Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball Memes, you will find them because those are spreading across the web.
