Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by SUV on El Camino Real in Millbrae

An 82-year-old San Francisco man was killed over the weekend after being struck by a car while crossing El Camino Real in Millbrae.
According to San Mateo County Sheriff’s office, at approximately 5:37 p.m. Sunday night, the pedestrian was crossing El Camino Real at Millwood Drive when he was struck by a black colored Nissan SUV traveling north on El Camino Real.
Personnel from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and Central County Fire Department arrived on scene and began administering first aid after which the unidentified pedestrian, was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the SUV was cooperative with law enforcement on scene.
At this time, the investigation is on-going and the name of the deceased will not be released until proper notification to the family has been made by the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office, officials said.
