Police Looking For Elderly Man Missing From Stanford Hospital

PALO ALTO (BCN) — Palo Alto police are searching for an East Palo Alto man with dementia and high blood pressure who went missing from Stanford Hospital this morning.

Henry James Scott, who is in his 70s, was last seen walking away from the hospital on foot this morning after he received discharge papers, police said.

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black coat with a hood, a brown baseball cap with no known logo, blue jeans, brown shoes and possibly a blue and white striped shirt. He has short, salt and pepper hair and is missing his front teeth, police said.

Scott has no known destination, but is known to frequent public buses in the San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.

Anyone who sees him should call police dispatch immediately at (650) 329-2413 and keep him under observation if at all possible until police arrives.
