S.F. Donut Shop Owner Shot During Robbery, Stabs Suspect

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police are searching for an alleged armed robber who held up a donut shop and shot the owner, who then stabbed the suspect.
The suspect entered the Happy Donut Store located on the 2600 Block of Bayshore Blvd in San Francisco On April 8, 2013 just before 3:00 a.m.
During the robbery a struggle ensued and the victim was shot by the suspect. The victim stabbed the suspect who then fled the scene.
The victim was shot in the arm and sustained a non-life threatening injury and was treated and released from a local hospital.
The San Francisco Police Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) is asking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect. Police believe that the suspect may have sustained life-threatening injuries and may succumb to his injuries, if not found and medically treated.
The suspect is described as a possible bald black male approximately 30-40 years of age, 5’08” – 5’10” in height with a thin build. The suspect was last seen wearing black clothing with possible stab wounds to his upper torso.
